You’ll find Hucknall Dental Care in one of the town’s most recognisable buildings — the Old Police Station on Portland Road, a short walk from Hucknall Market Place and the tram and rail terminus. We’re an NHS and private dental practice, and we’re currently welcoming new NHS and private patients of every age.
Sitting close to the centre of Hucknall makes us easy to reach from Butler’s Hill, Broomhill, Bestwood and the villages of Linby and Papplewick, whether you travel in by NET tram, along the Robin Hood line, or by car.

I had a really good experience at Hucknall Dental Care. My whole family has been there and we were all treated very well. DT Amal and Nurse Ayesha were amazing, very kind, caring and professional. From the moment I walked in, the reception team made me feel genuinely welcome. Nurse Uma and Dr Amal were exceptional — professional, efficient, and completely on the ball. They sorted several outstanding issues for me on my very first visit, with no fuss and no messing about. I’ve never been to a dentist who worked so quickly and confidently while still making me feel at ease. A truly wonderful team who clearly care about their patients. Review 2. I have returned again for superb follow up work. Booked for a deep clean in a month or so and ready for more serious work from this practice. All above and beyond. After being quoted a staggering £1,400 for treatment by another dentist, I was incredibly relieved when Hucknall Dental Care registered me as an NHS patient—especially at a time when no other practices in the area were taking on new patients. My dentist, **Dr. Hajara**, was absolutely amazing. She was thoroughly professional and took the time to clearly explain the entire treatment process throughout my visit, which completely put me at ease. In the end, my treatment cost just £76.60 Saving over £1,300 while receiving such top-tier, compassionate care is a massive win. If you are looking for a brilliant, welcoming, and honest dental practice, this is definitely the one. Thank you so much to Dr. Hajara and the team!
